2020 Show Dates:  March 27, 28 & 29

Time flies when you’re having fun. If you are having as much fun Living the Alaska Dream as we are, you know that March will be here before you know it. Register early to reserve you vendor space at the 2020 show.

 

The 2020 Mat-Su Outdoorsman Show will be bigger, better, and bolder than ever!  As usual, the show will be held at the Curtis D. Menard Center in Wasilla.  We hope that you plan to be a part of the show!

FOR THE VENDORS

 

  • 8' x 10' Booth space is only $395.
  • Aggressive marketing, promotion, and social media campaigns to boost show attendance.
  • Anticipate 10,000 show visitors.
  • There are bulk display areas for large items like boats, campers, RVs, ATVs and other Alaska toys.
  • There is a break room exclusively available for you and your employees with complimentary coffee and snacks.
  • Display space will be available in the front parking lot.
  • Returning 2019 Vendors have booth priority until November 15, 2019.
  • Vendor appreciation dinner on Saturday evening.

FOR VISITORS

 

  • Tons of traditional 8' x 10' booth displays.
  • Show attractions include seminars, local authors, events, and youth activities.
  • Entertaining and informative seminars on outdoor topics.
  • FREE parking.
  • FREE admission for kids under 12.

  • We have a soft spot for those who serve our country.  Show admission is always FREE for active military and their dependents.
  • No conflicts with other major events in Southcentral Alaska.

March 2020 will be the 15th year for the Mat-Su Outdoorsman Show, which will be held at the Menard Sports and Events Center on the weekend of March 27th, 28th, and 29th.  It’s never too early to plan ahead, and NOW is the time to register for you space at the show.

 

Consider the benefits of being a vendor at the Mat-Su Outdoorsman Show.  Over the course of three days, you will have literally thousands of potential customers walking past your booth.  (We are anticipating upwards of 10,000 attendees, with a larger show, increased advertising, and ramped up social media marketing!  We’re also excited to be adding outdoor food trucks as an additional enticement to welcome more visitors).  Folks come to the show because they want to find out how to get the most out of their Alaska outdoor experience.  They want to know how your product or service can help them fulfil their Alaska dreams.  These are real people, and they’re not on the other side of a phone, a keyboard, a mailbox, or the radio.  They are right there in front of you.  Thousands of them.  In person.  They’re ready to learn and buy, and you have what they want.  In our competitive world, this is simply the best bang-for-the-buck targeted marketing and exposure that you can get, and display space is amazingly affordable!

 

If you are a returning exhibitor from the 2019 show and you wish to retain your same location, you have guaranteed booth selection until November 15th.  Also, as you may know, we are adding over a hundred new booths on the turf field side of the Menard center, so there are plenty of opportunities for other great booth locations.  New vendors will have booth selection priority after November 15th.

 

  • Wasilla Business License.  Because the Mat-Su Outdoorsman Show is located within city limits, you will need a Wasilla business license.  (If you do not regularly do business in Wasilla, a temporary 7-day Special Event License is available).  The indoor display of motorized vehicles, including ATVs, campers, boats, etc., must be in compliance with the Menard Sports Center Indoor Car Show and Vehicle Display Rules.  Information for business licenses and vehicle regulations can be accessed from the links below.
  • Seminar Rooms are available, and we encourage exhibitors to provide a public class or two on your topic of expertise.  The rooms, including LCD projectors, are booked in one-hour blocks.  Let us know soon so we can schedule.  We would like to begin advertising seminars well in advance of the show.
  • Ice Rink and Turf Court Diagrams are available from the links below.  Actual booth layouts may change slightly in order to accommodate some larger open area displays.  Outside space is available as well –contact us for details.  Rest assured that we will work with you to find the best possible location for your booth or display!
  • The Vendor Break Room will of course be available to you and your staff for coffee, snacks, and a little peace and quiet from the show.
  • Don’t miss the Vendor Appreciation Buffet Dinner and the OPEN BAR on Saturday evening from 6:15 to 7:30.  If you have a donation for the drawing at this dinner, please let us know and bring it to the show.
